Alex is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) with over 6 years of experience working in the social services field supporting children, teens, young adults, and families. She provides counselling to young people (ages 10-30) with concerns such as anxiety, depression, emotion regulation, attention difficulties (ADHD), self-esteem, trauma, school, and relationship issues. She also supports young people identifying as LGBTQ+. In addition to individual counselling, she offers parent consultations and collaborates with school professionals to ensure well-rounded care.
Alex’s approach is warm, compassionate, and rooted in genuine connection—creating a space where young people feel seen, heard, and free to be themselves. Her training and experience allow her to support you in developing healthy coping skills, strengthening resilience, and navigating the changes and challenges that come with growing up.
Alex draws from evidence-based approaches such as Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness-based techniques. She prioritizes building trusting relationships and tailor sessions to each client’s unique needs to support you on your journey.
